I’m Pervaiz Muhammad - a therapist who gets that life can be tough, messy, and complicated, especially for men. Before stepping into the world of psychotherapy, I spent a decade working in the trades.
Long days, high pressure, and zero room for excuses - those years taught me grit, responsibility, and how to show up even when things get hard. That same mindset is what I bring to therapy.
A big part of my work involves helping individuals return to work while navigating mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, and chronic pain. I support clients in rebuilding their confidence, setting realistic goals, and overcoming the mental and emotional roadblocks that often follow injury, illness, or burnout. Through structured routines, pacing strategies, and focused problem-solving, we work together to gradually reconnect with meaningful activities - especially employment - at a sustainable pace.
I come from a Middle Eastern/Asian background, and I know what it’s like to grow up between cultures - juggling traditional expectations with modern pressures. That tension can create a deep identity struggle, especially for men who feel like they have to carry everything alone. I help clients work through those pressures and build a life that’s aligned with who they actually are—not just who they’re expected to be.
In therapy, I’m real. No fluff, no psychobabble. I work with teens, adults, and seniors, including men navigating trauma, tough breakups, fatherhood, or just feeling stuck. I’ve supported LGBTQ+ folks, survivors of abuse, and those transitioning out of long-term, unhealthy relationships. My approach is grounded in practical, evidence-based tools like CBT and trauma-focused therapy—but tailored to you, not a textbook.
