I’m Harsimran, but feel free to call me Simran. I’m the oldest of five siblings, spanning different generations, which has given me a deep understanding of diverse perspectives and experiences. Growing up as the eldest taught me responsibility, patience, and the importance of supporting those around me—qualities that shape my approach to therapy today.
I believe healing is a deeply personal and non-linear journey. It’s not about fixing everything at once but about navigating your path with compassion and curiosity. My approach is holistic, blending evidence-based practices with a deep respect for your unique experiences. I recognize that progress can look different for everyone, and I’m here to guide and support you as you explore what healing means to you.
My love for research and psychology stems from a lifelong curiosity about the human mind and behavior. I’m fascinated by how our past experiences shape us and how we can use that understanding to grow and transform. I’m continually learning and refining my practice to ensure that I’m providing the best possible support for my clients.
As a South Asian woman, I bring a culturally informed lens to my work. I understand the intersection of culture, identity, and mental health, especially in navigating systemic challenges and generational dynamics. Whether you're managing intergenerational expectations, dealing with systemic barriers, or simply seeking a space to be understood, I’m here to listen and help.
In therapy, my goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where we can work together toward meaningful change. Whether it’s through exploring your emotions, untangling complex challenges, or developing practical strategies, I’m committed to helping you uncover your strength and resilience.
Let’s take this journey together, one step at a time.
